The sun has been burning my skin, and the wind flows through my veins like water flowing in a stream. It feels so good to be alive, aware, awake.

It's weird, to think on days like these when I'm happy, I'm sharing them with friends who might not be around next year. They'll be a world away from me in more senses than one.
