Yesterday, we got a target gift card in the mail for Braiden's birthday. Yesterday. His birthday was at the beginning of January, and the gift card was supposed to be an incentive for being a part of the health care plan we joined in Minneapolis.
Honestly, I am pretty impressed that the card reached us at all.. and it was kind of nice to get it at this point in time.
We decided to go to Target and get Braiden some sandals, which he was in need of, and pick out some late birthday presents for him with the remainder of the money. He got a soccer ball, some finger paints, and a little bouncy ball that lights up when bumped.
The finger paints were really fun when we tried them out yesterday- Braiden made surprisingly beautiful art, and after watching mom and dad demonstrate was even able to keep most of the paint on his hands or on the paper he was decorating.
We're going to go try out his new sandals today, since Braiden has been begging for a walk all morning. :)
